הא קא משמע לן דשנים במקושר כעד אחד בפשוט מה התם פסולא דאורייתא אף הכא נמי פסולא דאורייתא

Consequently, it is invalid if it contains the signatures of two witnesses only. Should such a document be a bond, the creditor would not be entitled to collect his debt from sold or mortgaged lands. Should it be a bill of divorce, the divorce would be illegal. ');"><sup>6</sup></span>
